Hmmm, let’s see…

• In Another World With My Eyes Closed - Aaahhhh, my beloved dark Sebchal astral projection AU I wrote for the F1 Big Bang last year. 😍🥰 This is my very first longfic, standing at nearly a whopping 19k words (!!!). I had fun researching the concept of dreams, astral projection and dream-walking, I enjoyed watching films about dreams such as Come True (2020) and Little Nemo: Adventures In Slumberland (1989), and listening to dark and moody music for inspiration. Despite how challenging the whole writing process was, I’m very happy with how everything came together in the end.

• A Toast For A Lovely Old Goat - This is a light and fluffy Sewis fic set during the 2024 British GP and currently my second most popular fic by kudos and hits. I really enjoyed writing this one so much, mainly because of the real life event I took inspiration from and how quickly I’d written it.

• Dear Kimi - My fluffy Simi Christmas fic written for the 25 Days Of Simi Fest where Seb and Kimi communicate through Christmas cards. I just love the concept and the way I’ve written and aligned the dialogue. Fun fact: Believe it or not, this was all written in a single day!

• As Drunk As A Finnish Brown Bear - My “Kimi’s drunken antics at the 2018 FIA Prize Giving Gala” fic! I just enjoyed writing dialogue for Kimi in this, he’s so entertaining to write when he’s sozzled out of his mind. Reading this one back, it still sends me in fits of laughter every time. 😂

• Deep Tenebrosity - Not F1, but I thought I’d include it. It’s a Merlin fanfic I originally published onto Fanfiction.Net way back in 2020, which then got transferred over and tweaked a bit on AO3 a year later, only because I’d forgotten the password for FF.Net. 😓 I also did it because it is one of the better works I’d written out of the 4 fics on the platform. Looking back on it, I’m still very happy with what I’ve written.
